Art house convergence 2017 conference

The Art House Convergence is a coalition of independent theaters from around North America whose goal is to cultivate the community and culture of art house cinema, bring together filmmakers, film lovers and creatives from all related industries in their shared passion and in conversation, and to support the independent film industry as a whole. The Art House Convergence holds an annual conference in Utah--home of the Sundance Film Festival where the idea for the organization was conceived--and for the 2017 10th Anniversary event, the organization's co-director handed me the project of creating artwork for the conference. As a fan of the event, I was more than happy to take it on.

A poster and social media assets were developed from the initial conversation. My good friend and client wanted the poster to reflect the setting of the conference--Utah's iconic Wasatch mountains--and was also interested in some explorations for a 10th Anniversary iteration of the Art House Convergence logo.
